Rubber Belting for Making Whips, Collars, Cuffs, and Anything Else

Hi, I've got a hook up for some amazing rubber that can be custom cut!! I've worn studded bracelets made of the stuff for years.
Now, I'm making my own whips and collars, and anything I can think of with it. I get it from a local industrial rubber belting supplier.
They sell it cheap, and will cut it to any width I desire. I'm willing to take on some custom orders for the stuff if anyone is interested. It's black in color. I don't have a digital camera to take photos of the stuff up close, but, I've got a great photo of a one inch studded collar I made with it on my blog, www.whoresnotbores.blogspot.com. It's really soft yet durable. Comfy to wear, but stings like a bitch if you slap somebody with it.

Non piercing nipple rings

Also, does anyone know how to make the slider ones? I'm a novice jewelry maker, which means I know how to stick things together and bend little bits of metal, and then go ooh, ah over the result...but that's about it.

Bench Ideas

I had been looking into building a bench for some time and had seen on I liked but their price tag gave me sticker shock. So for about $100 in foam pad and very nice, easy to clean vinyl, and the scrap wood and hardware I had already, I have a sturdy, comfortable, easy to use, bench.

I always joke about the true test of a persons threshhold for pain (S/M) isn't done with whips and chains (they just excite me) but that a tattoo in certain areas of the body will teach all the limits they have (if any).

Home Depot

As much as I like the puns "Dom Depot" and "Home Despot," I really dislike shopping at Home Depot. I do like that they are open late and on weekends. but I don't like big-box retailers in general, and the service, frankly, sucks. The quality of their hardware is abysmal.

It really is worth it to go to a real lumberyard for lumber, and a plumbing supply for pipe. Sure, the prices on base stock are higher than a warehouse store, but the trained and specialized staff will can you save money by making sure you have what you need, and getting the most out of your base materials.

In the East Bay, Pastime Hardware (in El Cerrito) is a great hardware store, and Truitt & White in Berkeley is a great Lumberyard. Both have a customer service aproach wheer you take a number and ask for what you want. This can be a little daunting if you are used to a "supermarket" type of store, but once you get comfortable sking for what you need, you will find that you save a lot of time, and probably save a lot of money.

In the City, Discount Builders' Supply is a awesome place for hardware and Lumber, although the customer service is a bit lacking, especially on weekends.

A-1 Plumbing Supply in SF is great, super nice guys who will help you plan your project to get the most for your money.

Both DBS and A-1 are easy to get to via public transit, something I can't say for most Home Depots.

Any good recommendations in the South Bay? I could never do much better than OSH, which is better than Home Depot, but not by much. OSH has a higher standard for quality than HD or even Pastime and DBS, both ACE franchises.) IMO, OSH does sell some cheap/crappy hardware and tools, but they usually keep it separated into "bargain bins."

If you really need to get something cheap, maybe because you are flat out broke or are only going to use it a few times, check out Bonanza Hardware in Oakland on East 14th (right by Fruitvalle BART.) This is "flea market" quality stuff, all I can say is wear safety goggles and don't use anything from there for human suspension without the utmost caution.

straightening cane?

Heya -

I have a whole lot of leftover round reed lying around which I figured I could do something with. It's curled up in a bundle, and it's flexible, but it retains its curve during handling.

I've read that you should soak it in water to straighten it out, but I'm not sure if you should apply heat, pressure, clamp it to a table straight, or what to keep it straight.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Punishment shoes - very painful

One of our friends some time ago posted a post on another site about using the heavy plastic carpet protectors used under chairs to torment his slavegirls. We were thinking about this and have come up with a simple idea to torment anyone.
The carpet protector sheet we are talking about is available from most good office supply stores and has many spikes on one side to "bite" into the carpet, and hold it in place.

******** We have made the following changes to the old one from our desk.

First. - take a pair of the slaves shoes or boots, shoes with an ankle strap are best.
Second. - remove the insole and place it on the smooth side of the plastic carpet protector sheet.
Third. - carefully cut along the traced lines around the inserts.
Fourth. - replace the insert in her shoes,and install the New Torture Insoles, spikes up.

Last put the shoes on the errant slave and either make her stand, or order her walk around for you.

We guarantee that she will be begging for release in a short while. For extended torment - use a surface grinder or belt sander to buff the sharp edges somewhat smoother. Works well if your taking her out for a walk or dancing. LOL.
The remaining sheet can be placed inside her cage, or under her X frame, or stocks for more enjoyable torture > ENJOY!

hitachi magic wand modifications

My girlfriend wants me to put in a thumbwheel variable-speed control rather than just the normal two speeds, because sometimes low is too low and high is too high. I think a pulsing or wave mode might be nice too, and perhaps the "infur-o-tron" mode!

I was also thinking of trimming the handle a bit, maybe 3", since it's impossible to hit the right spot without hitting the bed in some positions. This will leave about 1" x 2" of empty space in the handle, more than enough room for a little circuit board.

Has anyone out there modified or just purchased a modified magical hitachi wand? I've seen external speed controllers sold for use with them, but nothing about physically modifying them to replace the switch with a thumb wheel. Or any other ideas to make the best vibrator even better?

Vegan Cuffs

I have received a huge onslaught of mail asking me for insight on breast bondage. In accommodation of the requests I wish to elaborate on the performance of such restraint in order to enhance everyone’s knowledge of this subject. Breast bondage can be performed on most any woman regardless of breast size. Large breasted women however are most inviting since their breasts can be tied with a cord, rope, or leather cuff at the base. The achieved result of tying the breast at the base will cause the breast tissue to be pushed forward accordingly, leaving them exposed for further torments. I do not like to use tape, as it can cause the skin to become damaged, and some women can be allergic to the glue. Breasts are wonderful things, and depending upon the woman, most pleasurable. Once the breasts are bound, they can be used to enhance a woman’s feeling of submission. There are many other devices available to effectively provide for the torment of the breasts. Some of these devices are items such as; Nipple clamps of various intensities, breast presses, suction cups, and vibrating eggs. Some women have enhanced their pleasure and sensitivity by having their nipples pierced! For the pierced ladies there are available items of interest like nipple shields, and nipple stretchers, as well as elaborate jewelry. Through the years I have had some conversation over pictures of women actually hanging in the air by their breasts! I do not recommend any such torments due to the distinct possibility of permanent damage to the “Coopers Ligament” supporting the breast. Stretching of the coppers ligaments is the leading cause of sagging breasts Sagging breasts are often caused by a woman’s disregard of proper breast support (BRA). Hanging any female by her breasts may appear to some as fun, but should always be avoided! Considerable torment can be achieved through the application of many light strokes of a light instrument, or prolonged clamping of her breast tissues. Too hard of a breast whipping can result in damaged milk ducts, which must also be avoided. Breasts can become bruised quite easily, but this has shown not to leave any permanent damage. Cupping sets are a wonderful way to “torture” her breasts, and nipples; however they also should be used with skill. If your sub is pierced, care should be taken to assure that while chained or tied by her nipples - the rings or studs cannot be accidently pulled out! One of my personal favorite’s tit torment devices is a “Zipper”. A zipper is nothing more than several common clothes pins attached together by a light string. My pleasure is in the application of the “zipper” upon her sensitive nipples and breasts. The feeling of the many clamps left on for several minutes can become quite intense. By combining two “zippers” – with say 10 clips per side, her suffering will be assured. I often will use the zipper towards the ending of a long session, when the woman is begging to be allowed to climax. At the point of climax, I will pull the zippers - harshly pulling off all the clips, causing intense pain. This intense pain is combined with the peak of her climax, causing an intense mix inequitable PLEASURE, and PAIN! I am always amazed by the final outcome! You just have to love women!

padding for suspension?

I do bottom regularly with a rigger, and we're working toward doing a full suspension. The challenge is that I weigh 200 pounds. I've seen heavier people with some sort of padding between the ropes and their skin, to minimize discomfort and evenly distribute the weight, but I don't know what that material was made of.

What might you-all suggest?

diy spreader bar

OK, so I'm one of those people that sees a $55 spreader bar and says I bet I could make that for < $20. Thanks to the Hollywood Home Depot guy for the electrical conduit suggestion and free cut. Haven't tested it yet, but will report back if revisions are required.

PARTS

- 1 piece of 1/2" (inner diameter) galvanized electrical conduit
note: Dry fit your parts to determine the length. For me 39.5" was perfect.

- 1 quantity 3/8" x 36" length of threaded rod
note: Verify that the thread spacing matches the eyebolts.

- 2 quantity 3/8" x 4" eyebolts

- 2 quantity 3/8" nuts (these came with the eyebolts)

- 2 quantity 3/8" coupling nuts
note: Again verify the threading is compatible with your eyebolts/threaded rod.

- 2 quantity 1/2" inner diameter washers (the ones I found had an outer diameter of 7/8")
note: If the conduit is too short you can always add more washers.

- black spray paint (optional)

- acrylic clear coat (optional)

ASSEMBLY/CUT TIME
10-15 minutes

DIRECTIONS
1. Do a dry fit to determine the length of conduit you need. Screw the 3/8" (non-coupling) nut all the way up both eyebolts. Add the washers to each eyebolt. Screw the coupling nuts on both eyebolt, leaving ~ half of nut free for the threaded rod. Screw in the threaded rod between both coupling nuts. Now measure the space between the washers to determine the length of conduit you will need.

2. Cut the conduit to length. You may need to ream out the end of the conduit on the cut end if the left over metal bends in slightly.

3. Paint/clear coat the conduit if desired. I kind of like the industrial look, although I might clear coat.

4. Unscrew one of the eyebolts from the coupling nut and remove the washer.

5. Slide the conduit over the open end of the threaded rod/coupling nut.

6. Screw the washer and eyebolt back into the coupling nut. You can add extra washers (or less optimally unscrew the nut to a lower position on the eyebolt) if you accidently cut your conduit too short.

7. Restrain away.

FINISHED PRODUCT

Base for rubber dildo?

Can I just cut a circle of rubber and glue it on with rubber cement? Is there a special kind of rubber I should use? And where would I get it?

Okay. So. Long story behind it, but I have on my balcony a large Tupperware container filled with sex toys. Vibrating eggs, to be exact. At one point, I had about 250 of them. I keep giving them away to people (in fact, I've been known to refuse to let guests leave the house unless they take one with them), and now I'm down to about 20.

Which is still a lot of vibrators, just for the record.

Some time ago, I read online about a guy who'd taken a vibrator and connected it to a Basic Stamp--think "little tiny computer on a single chip"--that he had programmed to switch the vibrator on and off at random intervals. The idea, you see, was to play with a quirk of human physiology.

Quick dissertation about human anatomy: The way our sensory nerves work, if you present the same stimulus to the same part of the body without varying it, eventually, your sensory nerves will quit responding to it. Take a toothpick and put it on your palm; you'll be able to feel it. Leave it there long enough without moving it or your hand and eventually you'll stop feeling it.

The sexual organs are no different than any other organ in this regard. Flip side of the same coin, if you vary the stimulation presented to a sensory nerve, it'll keep informing your brain "Hey! The stimulus has changed!" and you won't be able to ignore it.

Now, this guy had programmed his Basic Stamp to switch a vibrator on and off at random, but fairly short, intervals. The idea was to create an infuriating sex toy--a sex toy that, when you wear it, you absolutely can not ignore. Because the stimulation is random, you don't become acclimatized to it--and if it switches on and off quickly enough, it also doesn't stay on long enough to get you off. So basically, he created a sex toy that will make sure you always pay attention to it but won't make you come.

If you draw a graph of the way the sex toyy switches on and off, you get something like this:

There's vibration, then no vibration, then vibration, then no vibration, for randomly varying periods of time:
bzzzzz....bzz.........bzzzzzzzzzz..bzzz......bzzzzz... you get the idea.

Now, that's good and all, but the vibrators I have are equipped with a little thumbwheel speed control. When one of my partners is foolish enough to put me in charge of the control pack for one of these things, I like to run my thumb up and down the speed wheel thingy, making the vibrator go FASTER and slower and FASTER and slower.

So I started thinking, why not program a computer to run the vibrator for random times at random speeds? From there, I started thinking about how to actually code for that.

Now, it seemed to me, as I was thinking about it on the bus on my way down to Tallahassee, that the most obvious way to go about this is to take a bunch of sine waves and put them together. One can construct a waveform of nearly arbitrary complexity by merging together sine waves of different frequencies, via a mathematical bit of wizardry called a fast Fourier transform.

For example, suppose we have something like this:

The sum of the red sine wave and the blue wave (which is itself a composite of three sine waves) looks a bit like this:

Now, feed that into a vibrator and it should keep a person infuriatingly close to orgasm without letting her get off or ignore the vibrator just about indefinitely.

The thing is, you want a wave that looks random. Any composite of a finite number of sine waves will be periodic (that is, at some point it will start to repeat), so you want something that looks random and also has a long periodicity. I was thinking about how to choose a relatively small number of sine waves--say, sixteen or so--in such a way as to maximize the periodicity and also maximize the apparent randomness when combining them with an FFT. Make the ratios of their periods prime? Stuff like that?

I was hampered somewhat by the fact that I also know fuck-all about how to actually do an FFT, too, which means that basically I know squat about the best way to go about choosing the sine waves.

Shelly's dating a physicist, though. And he took one look at the problem and observed that a fast Fourier transform isn't really necessary; it's using an anti-aircraft cannon on a mosquito.

His idea, which is brilliant, is this:

Take a sine wave whose period is the interval of time over which you don't want the pattern of the vibrator to repeat. Add it to itself with a period of double that, and add it to itself with a period of three times that, and again with a period of five times that. (Geeky readers will already see where this is going: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5... is the Fibonacci sequence.)

You don't need very many sine waves to get a right royal (and therefore random-looking) mess.

So, in theory, it will be remarkably simple to make The World's Most Annoying Sex Toy(tm). A little bit of simple programming and some kind of variable interface and the result should be a vibrator that will drive the wearer right straight up the fucking wall for hours, with no relief in sight.

I am such a stinker.

Fortunately, the world is saved by the mere fact that I don't at the moment have time to actually build one of these. Yet.

Stainless Steel work with cuffs and collars

I was wondering if anyone has combined stainless steel banding into their leather cuffs and collars. I have built several sets of ankle and wrist restraints, but I always liked the look of Stainless wrapped around the black latigo. how to make a posture collar

this is a very easy project
1 cut leather 3.5 inch wide that is tall enough to keep most peoples head up
cut the lenght about 3 inch longer then neck size make a gentle slope for chin (less severe version )
2 cut a one inch strap around 12 inches then cut into 3 pieces as needed for the strap buckle and o ring
3 cut two strips of thin leather for lining shaped like collar one for the top and one for bottom (find a leather skirt from the goodwell eases and cheapest way) stop the edge 1.5 inches from the ends of the collar
4 punch holes in all the leather and dye and finish
5 sew the lining to the top and bottom
6 attach all hardware
7 glue the rest of the lining down to cover hardware backs
8 try it one and have fun

Basic leathercrafting.... how the fuck to you hold it!?

There's got to be some trick that apprenticing with someone will help me understand, but just reading and playing, I'm sure to destroy hundreds (thousands?) of dollars of animal skin... I'm just glad they're food animals. What a waste of a life, otherwise.

HOW THE HELL do you cut 10oz latigo accurately? I either have to bear down so hard with a razor knife that if I slip, I'm dead... I'll bleed out before the paramedics could get here... or I have have to go over and over the same spot, essentially making it look "chewed".

How do you do wide stuff, say over 6", in thick hides? Accurately? Say a weightlifter belt, but that's a bad example cause I know it's stamped, but still, assume you had to do one by hand... how do you hold it to cut it, what do you align it with, how do you hold it taut to keep your edge straight?

Little floggers and whips out of strips and lace are nothing compared to real leatherwork. Sheesh. Even cuffs and belts can be a bitch.

I am learning. Just not quickly enough... frustrated with my lack of ability.

Adult-sized baby swing idea

I was looking closely at toddler "bucket swings" (the wrap-around ones you lower the kid into), and they're constructed very simply from one piece of plastic or rubber; it's pretty much bolted together at the sides, and hung from chains at that same reinforced area. I realized I could make one for my little girl with a sheet of heavy-duty material, a jigsaw to cut the pattern, a table router (to smooth the edges with a rounding bit), and the fastening hardware. There are also portable adult-size swing frames, so a backyard is optional.

I suppose my question is this; is there anyone here who might like to research/build this project with us, or do you have any suggestions? There would be endless variations on material, pattern, and hardware, with some working best, so a little collaboration might go a long way. I'd also like to mount it in such a way that it could be made into a bouncing swing, with a spring (her suggestion). I'm no builder, but I've thought of a few ways to do that with the same swing.

Horrizontal Suspension

We set up a horizontal suspension system where we had the luxury of easy access to the ceiling joists. I installed four anchor points spaced out at approximately the same distances as the sub’s appendages and one in the center for her waist. Each anchor point had a rope block and tackle and a boat cleat to secure each line. It worked well, but I’m wondering if there isn’t a more elegant way of doing this. One Master I spoke with said to use a St Andrews cross suspended from its four points and anchored to the ceiling at a common point. The sub is then suspended below the cross via five lines. But my understanding of this system is that I would encounter the same problems of having five individual lines to adjust as the sub is raised.

Any thoughts or comments?

DIY fleshlight holder.

I missed out on the clear fleshlight cases and my Master wanted to use it with the clear fleshlight so I went out and got ingenuitive!

ok, not really, it's just a little hack, but it works well.

Gatorade makes a new drink in a longer thinner bottle. The yellow flavor is called, fittingly enough, Endurance. The bottle is just right to cut out a hole in the bottom.

If you do it smoothly and soften the edges it works out perfectly.

I wish i could remember the diameter.

I found a template of the appropriate size and scored the plastic repeatedly until it was super thin and easy to cut. If you just try to manhandle it with a razor it tends to make straight lines that go way off course.

I recommend using white electrical tape on the rim because it helps the seal and is aesthetically pleasing. The white variety also tends to have less adhesive making it cleaner. I prefer "Scotch" brand personally.

The bottle has sturdier sides than the prototype, an Evian bottle, and the wide mouth makes it perfect for pouring in your lube of choice. it also helps for washing since you can pour in isopropyl alcohol for cleanup and put the lid back on. That way you can shake it for a good thurough cleaning.

The suction is AMAZING, especially if you release the pressure when you're about to climax.

Great for all fleshlights.

If anybody has any ideas for a cover for the opening to the fleshlight itself I'd love some input. the only bad part of this design is it leave the mound exposed and thus it can get a little dirty.

Hi there everyone!

I was recently given a whole bunch of old tractor and car inner-tubes, and my horny self really wants to make some stuff out of it!! I have a couple of questions tho - if any of you are in the know :)

1. Is there a way using some kind of product to "seal" the rubber - i find that just picking it up etc seems to leave a black residue - wich would end up covering whatever part of your body you made anything for ... Any ideas?

2. Any ideas and or patterns available out there to make a decent cat-suit out of rubber? I am definitely going to be trying the hood pattern posted a short while ago...

Anyone have any other suggestions on what to make??

Here is a little coochie flogger I made
out of deer leather a piece of plastic conduit and a cabinet handle
the cabinet knob unscrews so you can put in the freezer for added fun
how to make
1 cut leather into strips leaving some un cut at the top about 3 to 5 inches the longer the better the hold so you can role it up about 10 inches ( with) fits inside make a little more then cut down to size needed
2 cut conduit to length desired
3 paint conduit let fully dry or paint may come off apply at least 2 coats
4 roll leather up so that it will fit tightly into the handle if you have too much just cut until you can cram it in
5 fill the other end with hot glue or silicon insert screw with knob on it helps center the knob in the tube hold until cool or glue sets
then you have a fun little play toy

Shackle Locking ???

and mabe tape for the edges depending on what kind of tape you can find

Dry plaiting?

I took too long. I stretched and soaped up my lace, and started... but got sidetracked on another project. Weeks pass. Months. I finally decide to go back to that one... It's dry. I'll shred the tanning if I try to tension it, and I can't tell when a strand is nearing the breaking point like you can when they're supple and slippery.

What to do? I'd hate to have to undo 12 hours of work (36 plait outer layer) but it's better than ruining the strips or having one break.

Can you just soak it? I could do up a batch of Morgan's braiding soap and drop the whole thing in while the lard is still warm, I don't know it it'll ever all wash out after that, but hey... this is new territory... never not finished within a few days once started, I'm kind of obsessive that way.

Any ideas?

molding wet latio

i've been learning through trial and error for a while. especially on my pony mask. right now there are three pieces of latigo that are grometed togeather at the bridge of the nose. looks fine and feels fine...that is untill the blindfold is buckled on. then there is too much pressure on the nose (especially if someone is pulling the reigns!) ;) i'd like to re-do the nose piece out of a single piece of latigo cut into shape and moulded to fit the contour of the nose. how the hell do i do that? do i cut the latigo to the size i want it (one inch straps meeting at the bridge of the nose) before or after i mold the leather? how do i shape the leather? do i soak it and then stretch it over a mold? just plain water?
any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated. this is the first time i've tried braching out beyond nailing shit togeather!

Kinky Karnival Needs some help...

Some of you may or may not know that the Whippersnappers tribe is taking over the SF Citadel for a night and putting on a fundraiser event on July 22nd called Kinky Karnival. We are trying to raise some money so that we can start hosting some bigger and better events in the bay area to get the younger newbies into the kinky lifesylte in a safe and comfortable way. broken rabbit

Well I've gone and broken my second rabbit vibrator the wires are coming loose on the inside and it's not that easy a unti to get to without breaking the plastic around the control unit.
Anyone come across this kind of problem before? Any ideas of sites I could look at to help me through fixing it?
:) wouldn't mind it hooked to the mains but hey that's wishful thinking I think :D

The pain!

Weaving a single strand 12 x 37 Turk's Head for six hours straight is not the way to go about it. The constant retensioning is what killed me. Nonetheless, now I feel like a 90 year old arthritic wretch, it hurts, I can't uncurl my fingers, I can barely type, and did I mention it hurts?

It hurts.

Going to try a warm water soak, maybe some Epsom salts. A quick Google says people like hot wax dips, not really sure how this helps over a hot water soak... I could just get a couple oven mitts wet and microwave them I guess :-)

the shackles and collar are leather and stainless steel. i do my own metal polishing to cut costs. custom sizing available.
the belt is red scaled leather- over 300 rivets went into it.
the flogger has a FLEXIBLE handle-- all the tails are part of a braid that runs all the way to the end of the handle. cat o' nines also done, though i have no pics of these.
and yes, the mask is leather. it was shaped by hand and painted. custom designs available. basically, i am running low on leather for other, much bigger projects, and i am looking to sell some work for the funds for more leather. contact me if interested.

buckles and neck corsets

I have several ideas for making neck corsets, but I'm a bit stumped on how to close them. I have the tools to put in grommets, but I suspect that having to relace a neck corset every time it is put on would be a total pain in the ass.

So, I'm thinking that maybe using buckles would be the best solution. My problem is that I've never put a buckle onto anything before. Does anyone have any tips for putting in the studs to secure the metal bits, good suppliers, and general tips?

Also, other suggestions for closing the piece would be greatly appreciated, too!

(of course, now that I'm thinking about it, decorative buttons and frogs might work... hmmm)
